Materials machinable with JustLaser laser engravers and laser cutters

Basically, a very wide range of materials can be processed with a laser. The list of non-machinable laser materials is much shorter.

In the following, we would like to give an overview of those materials that can be processed with a JustLaser laser engraver or laser cutter. The prerequisite for laser processing is that the material can absorb light of a certain wavelength. In principle, this is the case for all materials, it is "only" necessary to find the correct wavelength for the material. However, there is not a beam source for every wavelength, so there are some materials that cannot be processed.

Depending on the type of device, our JustLaser machines have different scopes of materials that can be processed in each case. In addition, there are materials that can be engraved and cut with the JustLaser, others can only be cut or engraved.

JustLaser Laser Engraver (JL 6.4, JL 7.5, JL 10.6)

The JustLaser CO2 laser engravers are designed as all-in packages and offer a very wide range of applications, also in terms of the materials that can be processed with these lasers. Engraving metal, laser engraving wood, cutting and engraving acrylic or engraving aluminum - these materials and many more can be customized without any problems.

JustLaser Large Lasercutter and Laser Engraver

The large format laser JustLaser Large is a laser cutter for wood, metal, acrylic and much more - and it is not only a laser cutter, but with this device numerous materials can also be laser engraved. Thanks to super-pulsed laser tubes, peak powers of more than 2,000 watts can be delivered, depending on the model. This enables the JustLarge to cut metal as well and once again expands the material scope of the laser cutter by a particularly important material.

JustCut Metal Laser Cutter

Cutting metal, sheet metal, copper and aluminum with a laser cutter is only possible for laser cutting machines designed for this purpose due to the nature of the material. The JustCut is a compact fiber laser system that delivers up to 3 kW of laser power, making sheet metal processable.

JustMark Laser Marker

Laser marking is required in a wide variety of applications and therefore also places corresponding demands on the laser system in terms of the materials that can be processed. The JustMark fiber laser is an efficient, flexible and fast laser marker for applications in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, electronics and semiconductor industry, for marking nameplates, in plastics processing, in the marking of watch parts, ball bearings, handguns, promotional items, and much more.

All materials mentioned can be processed with the respective JustLaser laser engravers and laser cutters. The material thickness that can be processed depends, among other things, on the performance of the laser.
